Strategy call or discovery call? What should you call it, and why does this matter?
You must have an upfront call with potential clients, no matter how busy or successful you are.
This upfront call is vital to explore whether you are suitable for a client and whether they are right for you. You need to ensure you feel confident that you can help people. A client needs to think that you can help them. This call is a critical element in determining where your relationship will go.
As Hypnotherapists, we know that words matter. Words have meaning. Words trigger emotional responses. So, what should you call this initial discussion?
It does matter what you call this event. Is it a chat, is it a strategy call, is it a discovery call, or if you got something else entirely that you use? I see many people making a big mistake with what they call this initial discussion. Don’t fall into that trap!
